Our Atlanta, Georgia facility brings together multidisciplinary engineers, expert consultants, state-of-the-art laboratories, and extensive in-house testing capabilities to deliver comprehensive engineering, investigative, technical, and litigation support solutions. Backed by ESi's nationwide network of experts and the latest technologies, we deliver innovative solutions for criminal and civil investigations, industrial research, product development, and complex engineering challenges.
Our facility offers a broad range of testing, inspection, measurement, and computational analysis capabilities. Our state-of-the-art materials testing and analysis laboratory includes industrial CT scanning for large-format components, enabling non-destructive internal examination of complex parts and assemblies using one of the most powerful scanners in the Southeast, the 450kV Mesofocus.
Additional capabilities include Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) for advanced imaging and material characterization, a 2500x Keyence digital microscope for high-resolution imaging, documentation, and measurement, and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) for molecular and chemical analysis.
Our primary conference hall connects directly to our large, well-equipped metallurgical, optical microscopy, mechanical, and electrical laboratories. These five laboratories and three testing bays are further supported by a spacious tear-down high bay equipped with a vehicle lift for inspections, component disassembly, and EV battery removal.
Our facility is designed to host multi-party and third-party inspections in comfortable, climate-controlled environments supported by advanced technology. We also offer secure, climate-controlled artifact storage to help preserve and maintain the integrity of evidence.
